The Aeroelasticity course is accompanied by a wind tunnel experiment, which aims to demonstrate the flutter phenomenon and to introduce students to the principles of flight flutter testing. A wing with pitch and plunge degrees of freedom is tested at increasing airspeed up to the flutter speed.
