The aim of this Final Year Project was to develop vortex ring algorithm that can be used to calculate the steady lift, drag and moment of 3D wings with any planform. The project was run in collaboration with the Optimal Aircraft Design (OAD) company that develops the ADS aircraft design software.

The algorithm was successfully developed and validated. It has since been implemented in the ADS software package.
